A French motto from 1968 was 'Take the camera and go down the street'
But to tell a cinema story it is not enough to switch a camera on.
You have to find a point of view, a way, a method to tell that story.
Find a story, a core narrative that interests you. Find the point of view from which to tell that story, get to know it, research it and write it down.
And then, of course, going down with a camera in the street.
