Luciano Barisone
Festival director, film critic and creative producer. Founder of the Alba International Film Festival, he was the artistic director of the Festival Dei Popoli from 2008 to 2010 and director of Visions du Réel in Nyon from 2011 to 2017. He has collaborated with several international film festivals, including the Locarno International Film Festival, the Venice International Film Festival, and the Rencontres Internationaux de Cinéma de Paris.
Daniela Persico
Locarno Film Festival programmer and founder of Filmidee. Member of the selection committee of the Festival dei Popoli and IsReal - Festival di cinema del reale in Nuoro (Italy). She took part in the selection committees of the Berlin Critics' Week, the Lovers Film Festival and the Filmmaker Festival. Today she is a programmer of the Locarno Film Festival and selects Italian documentaries for the VOD platform Tënk Europe.
Ivan Olgiati
Founder and president of Articolture, film production and distribution company. Among others, he produced Fedele Alla Linea, La Valigia selected at Nastro d'Argento and the David di Donatello Awards 2015, A Casa Mia winner of the 2017 David di Donatello Awards for Best Short Film, The Asteroids selected for the international competition at the Locarno Film Festival 2017, Zen in the Ice Rift and Il Mondiale In Piazza both presented at the Venice Film Festival 2018, The Lamb winner of the Annecy Cinéma Italien 2020. Since 2009 he has been teaching at the Ilaria Alpi' School of Journalism of the University of Bologna and holds film production workshops. He is the president of CNA Cinema and Audiovisual Emilia Romagna and a member of the CNA national presidency.
Micol Roubini
Director of The Road to the Mountains, founder of L'Altauro. Video artist, she graduated in painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, she then specialised in Audio Technology at the IRMus of the Scuola Civica in Milan. Her film The Road to the Mountains was selected at Cinéma du Réel, Filmmaker International Film Festival and IsReal - Festival di cinema del reale in 2019 and won the Corso Salani Aaward at Trieste Film Festival in 2020.
Davide Maldi
Director of The Young Observer, founder of L'Altauro. He graduated at the Scuola Romana Dei Fumetti and started working as an illustrator and storyboard artist for cinema. His film The Young Observer in 2019 was selected at Locarno Film Festival, DOK Leipzig, and won the special jury prize at Italiana.Doc at Torino Film Festival. His is a political film, a "manual for young anarchists" who are in no hurry to grow up, despite the imperatives of society and the expectations of families.
Alessandra Pastore
Head of Industry of the Meeting Point Vilnius (Lithuania).
Since 2016 she is the Industry Coordinator of When East Meets West, the co-production forum in Trieste (Italy). She is involved in the coordination of international professional training programmes, including HerMeS (Eurimages) and the "Director Across Borders" workshops (Euroeast Culture). Alessandra is a consultant to film production companies on international development and co-production topics.
Fabio Abagnato
Responsible for Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.
Emilia-Romagna Film Commission is a public structure, established by the Region in 1997 as the ideal interlocutor of productions, organisations, companies and professionals operating in the regional territory. Its mission is to encourage, promote and support film and audiovisual productions, with the aim of enhancing the cultural, environmental and historical heritage of Emilia-Romagna, as well as the human resources working in it.
