The Cinema Astra in Bellaria Igea Marina was opened in 1965. The inauguration took place in a period of progressive growth of the film industry and of cinema-going by the public. Today it is the main cinema of the Bellaria Film Festival.

In the centre of Pesaro, the Astra cinema theatre is a historic cultural meeting place. Approdi has been collaborating in the programming of the film season since 2023.
